Dental Hygienist

Ivette Maruri grew up in Concord and graduated from Ygnacio Valley High School. After high school graduation she attended her first two years of college at Diablo Valley College before transferring to San Francisco State University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. She then returned to Diablo Valley College where she graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program in 2008. She has since worked in private practice while also volunteering her time to provide dental hygiene services to underserved communities in California and abroad in Mexico. She has also returned to Diablo Valley College to teach part-time in the clinic.
